In the May of 2001, Dale decided to try out Bikram yoga at the first studio in Vancouver. After his first class he knew that this was something that would transform his body and overall health. As his practice grew and he felt more and more of the benefits, Dale just had to share this with everyone. He attended teacher training during Spring 2002 and has been teacher and maintaining a daily practice since then. Bikram yoga has completely changed his life in the best of ways. He dropped all of his excess weight, is in the best health of his life, and has found both a mental and physical balance. With this, Dale couldn’t imagine his life without yoga. Dale doesn’t have a favourite posture since what he loves is the entire practice and progression of postures. You enter the room, your pores open up, and you surrender to the yoga. He feels that the consistency in practicing is the greatest reward. In class, Dale hopes to give all of his students a positive energy as he guides them through the class. He is strong when he needs to be but is also very supportive. Dale admits that he is quite talkative in class but always offers encouragement during savasana. You can always find him in the lobby after class just waiting to talk about Bikram yoga. When he isn’t practicing or teaching, Dale enjoys attending local events and healthy organic foods. He is also involved in the Vancouver theatre and acting industry. |
