Elaine started practicing yoga in 2007 after having a friend introduce her to it. Right away she knew she loved it. At the time she began practicing, Elaine had many severe allergies that required her to take antihistamines along with frequent back pains but after a few months of coming 3 times a week she really started to feel a change. Her backaches where gone and her allergies had completely vanished. She felt better, stronger, and much healthier and was completely hooked on Bikram yoga. Elaine wanted to get a deeper understanding of the yoga to see the details of the postures, their health benefits, and to share her love of yoga with others. This led Elaine to the Spring 2008 session of teacher training and she now continues to attend seminars and workshops whenever possible to continue her life long process of learning.

Elaine loves every aspect of yoga and all the benefits you can receive from it. After training she found herself to be stronger, both mentally and physically, more confident, and significantly healthier. Teaching and practicing give Elaine an extra boost throughout the day making her feel radiant and passionate to share all the feelings yoga gives her with other. Yoga has changed Elaine’s life.

Classes with Elaine are filled with compassion and understanding as she focuses on the students. She gives lots of positive energy in class to motivate and inspire as you work your way to better health. Her number one yoga tip it to keep on breathing and find you natural breath within the posture, eventually this will make the class a form of meditation for you.

Outside of yoga Elaine enjoys staying creative as she studied and worked in the fashion design field. She also likes to spend time reading, cooking, skiing, and hiking.
